Menstrual Cup
Designing a menstrual cup is a challenge if you're a dude like me. But I embraced the understanding, put on my empathy hat and help my client turn their thoughts into a product.

Services
Industrial Design
I designed the menstrual cup with comfort and ease of use in mind, exploring different shapes to find what worked best. The goal was to create something simple, discreet, and user-friendly. Several concept directions were explored, but ultimately, form followed function.
Prototyping
We used vacuum casting to make silicone prototypes that felt like the real thing. This let us test comfort, fit, and usability early on.
Designed for Manufacture
From the start, the design was shaped around how it would be made. I considered things like wall thickness and mold direction to keep production smooth and manufacture friendly when the time came.
3D Renders
Clean 3D renders were created to show off the final design before production. They helped everyone visualize the product and were great for early feedback and marketing.
A simple sketch
You don't always need fancy sketches. I kept it simple an effective displaying the idea on one page.

Always prototype
Prototyping using silicone vacuum casting. The client was able to hold the design in her hand

"I highly recommend Dylan!! He was flexible, efficient and able to provide ideas to enhance the product design as we moved along.
I couldn’t ask for a better experience"
