First task was to develop a custom PCB that is small and powerful enough to shine for a few hours. We worked with our favourite electrical engineering team who helped us build a working solution.
We had to make sure the LED was positioned well to allow for function and fit in the enclosure.
Integration of the electronics, enclosure and function of the capo was priority.
We designed and prototyped three versions which helped us understand a few key points. One final version was shipped to the customer.
This guitar capo shined light up and down the guitar neck and made you a better guitar player ;).
The initial prototypes were manufactured in house using our 3D printer.
The detailed prototype was CNC’d from ABS plastic.
